At Nomon, the bar is just as busy as the kitchen. In fact, for many guests, the evening begins here and ends here too. With a glass in hand, surrounded by the warm atmosphere of our interior, where the hours fly by without you even realising it. This is Scheveningen’s cocktail bar where you can stay until the small hours.
The Nomon bar: open all year round
The circular bar forms the heart of Nomon. This is where guests gather, stories are shared and glasses are raised. It’s a place where you can escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life for a while, or kick off the evening with good vibes and even better drinks.
What sets Nomon apart from other places on the coast? We’re open all year round. Not a beach bar that closes when the temperature drops, but a fully-fledged bar that’s open every day until 1.00 am. In summer, with the windows open and the sea breeze blowing in; in winter, with the warmth from inside and a cocktail to warm you up.
Cocktails with a touch of sunshine in your glass
Our bartenders are experts who know exactly how a good cocktail should taste. From timeless classics to our own creations that you won’t find anywhere else. The Espresso Martini is a favourite amongst guests: bold, creamy and just the pick-me-up you need later in the evening.
But the real discoveries lie in our signature cocktails. Creations inspired by the sun, the sea and the atmosphere of Scheveningen. Every cocktail is prepared with care, using fresh ingredients and striking the right balance between flavour and presentation. At Nomon, we capture the sun in your glass, from sunrise until well after sunset.
Cocktail Friday: elke vrijdag €8,50
The weekend kicks off at Nomon on Fridays at 4.00 pm. That’s when it’s Cocktail Friday, and all our cocktails are just €8.50. From the classic Espresso Martini to our most elaborate signature creations. The same quality, the same care, but at a price that tempts you to have just one more.
Cocktail Friday has now become a regular ritual for many of our guests. Wind down the week with colleagues, friends or simply on your own. The atmosphere is relaxed, the music is at just the right volume and the bar fills up with people who had the same idea. You’re welcome until 01:00, so there’s no rush.
Bites and bar snacks
A good cocktail calls for a good bite to eat. At Nomon, we serve bar snacks that are the perfect accompaniment to an evening at the bar. Our Hague-style croquettes are a classic: crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, and just what you want with a glass of wine or a cocktail.
For those who fancy something a little more substantial, there are oysters with a glass of bubbly. Or a cheese platter to share as the evening wears on. The menu has been deliberately kept compact, but every item has been chosen with care. No unnecessary choices, just nibbles that leave you wanting more. Just like the cocktails that go with them.
